Voter registration deadline
Monday, October 5, 2026A mailed application counts if it is postmarked by this date.
Monday, October 19 to Friday, October 30, 2026Vote at any early voting location in your county. Hours vary by location, so check your county's schedule.
Friday, October 23, 2026Your application must be received, not just postmarked, by your county early voting clerk. Only some voters qualify, including voters 65 or older, voters who are sick or disabled, and voters who will be out of their county for all of early voting and Election Day.
Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 7 p.m.Your ballot must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day, or by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 if it is postmarked by 7 p.m. on Election Day. Military and overseas voters have different deadlines.

Every paid political ad is labeled "Paid political advertisement" and carries the buyer's "Paid for by" line. Campaigns and committees from any side can buy one at the same published rates, and that includes people I've criticized.
I can turn down an ad that's false or hateful, or one made to look like an official election notice. Each political ad I accept goes in the public ledger below with the buyer, the committee or FEC ID, the amount and the run dates.
